My Voice Experience
I've worked as a voice-over for a Comedy Central sketch presented by Michael Ian Black. I've done live story book reading. I was a contendor for an MTV narration spot for the music video awards in 2005. During my trainig at Wiest-Baron Studios in NYC, it was strongly suggested to me by my coaches and instructors that I create a reel for commercial and announcer voice work, as they believed I would do great work.
I trained with Peter Rofe at PDR Studios in NYC, 2013-2014. Wiest-Baron Studios NYC for 1year in 2004-2005, studied with Jeffrey Zeiner Drama Coach for Theater in NYC for 1year in 2002. I was a back-up singer for a major recording artist for two years from 2008 - 2010. I sang and performed for Lincoln Center's Mid Summer Night Swing Disco Shows for Summers 2009 and 2010 and the 80s Dance Party for summer 2011. I perform live regularly in NYC as a singer and I am a recording studio session singer for a London based producer.
My Studio Equipment
Sound board, sound room, amps, keyboards, piano, guitars, compressor, compression mic, Shure mic, reverb, protools, Mac. I also take complete advantage my iPhone's voice-recorder which when compressed, can deliver great sound quality for emergency use.
I am a musician, I play piano and guitar. I am also an actor and have studied on camera acting as well as Theater acting. I've performed in two New York City plays. I am also a songwriter, lyrically and musically as well as write short stories and poetry. I wrote my first shooting script at age 20 as a film student at Hunter College, NYC. I own a beloved Tascam 4trk recorder which I cherish because it is a true testament to picking up the real quality of the voice and musical composition in it's most raw form. I also dabbled in sound engineering.
