Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Kathy is experienced at coming up with original voices for characters, from a talking cow for a Nabisco promotion to a singing cockroach for an animated short. When shown an illustration of a character, she has the creative skills to create a unique matching voice. She can also do "tough New Yawk," little kid (a-la Lily Tomlin's "Edith Ann,") and "Ernestine the Operator."

My Voice Experience

The word that best describes Kathy's voice work is "versatility." In a career that spans three decades, she has done voice-overs, commercials, and narrations for numerous clients, including Nabisco, Verizon, Miles, Johnson and Johnson, Lipton, BMW, Grand Union Supermarkets, Mademoiselle, and ABC Daytime. Her voice was featured on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." Kathy also was part of the "Malcolm and Melvin" animated segment for "Ralph Bakshi's Zootunes," playing the parts of both a TV host and a singing cockroach! A Licensed Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and Third Degree Reiki, Kathy's expertise is frequently requested for voice-overs in the healthcare and complementary medicine fields. She also has experience in voice prompt and voicemail systems, and Avatar.
Kathy has been the Co-Host of an award-winning nationally-syndicated radio program, "Rock Today," and an Air Personality/DJ in both the Rock and Adult Contemporary formats. An award-winning interviewer, she has conducted hundreds of live, on-air artist interviews. As the morning drive Newscaster on the number one radio station in NYC, Kathy wrote, hosted and produced a multi-award winning weekly Public Affairs program, "Vista." She also has been a Traffic Reporter, with shifts on most major stations in the New York Metropolitan Area.
