My Voice Experience

I'm new to this career and looking for experience. I am open to voiceovers for all areas. I enjoy speaking and am an avid reader. I have given public presentations for varioius employers and organizations such as clubs and chambers of commerce. For the past six months, I have recorded radio commercials to promote my current employer and develop a personal relationship with the listening audience and potential customers. These ads are written by me and designed to educate the customers on our services and how they relate to the listener. I am comfortable in front of the microphone and enjoy reciting copy in a manner that expresses the appropriate feeling and reaction from the listener.

My Training

I have recorded approximately a dozen radio commercials and am taking a class on voiceover work this spring.

My Studio Equipment

I am not yet knowledgeable about audio engineering, but if I am chosen to do recording and develop experience and skills that are marketable here, I will consider further education and investment.

Additional Skills

I have worked in administrative and managerial positions in motor vehicle licensing, construction, and water treatment. Currently I am employed as a Territory Manager with a large rental company. I also had early experience in retail work.

I have an excellent knowledge of customer service.

I currently develop the marketing stategy for our local branch including developing flyers, radio advertising, and print ads.

In my current position, I am also a certified instructor for aerial operator and forklift operator certification.
