My Voice Experience

I have 25 years of experience as a teacher and a presenter at local and National educational forums. I have recorded for educational presentations and am looking for the opportunity to expand to more diverse types of recording, including narration for children's audio books, commercials, promos, etc.

My Training

I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and a Master's in Education, with a concentration in English and Special Education. I received professional voiceover training with the producers and voice coaches at Voice Coaches/Creative Voice Development Group, located in Schenectady, NY. I also took a class on Voiceovers at a local college.

Additional Skills

I sing, and have had instrumental music training. I'm now retired, but in my previous capacities as English teacher, district trainer, and Chairperson of the Committee on Special Ed., I was most often in a position of authority where my ability to convey ideas and my degree of professionalism were key. I bring this same integrity to anything I do.
And, by the way, I am by no means as stuffy as all that sounds!! I'm looking forward to entering a new field and having some fun with it!
