Voice Description

I am a warm hearted, fun, creative person with a voice to match. I am customer service orientated as well. I am well versed. I have done stage work, taught Kindergarteners, and have children of my own. I am the 7th of eight children from a Euro-American family, where, you guessed it, it was loud, happy, with song and much laughter and love. The dinnertable entertained at least four conversations at once. I love to talk and to read. I laugh at myself and everything else that is funny. I love life and strive to bring life and light to the world through my voice, writing, pictures, and song. I am sexy and fun all-in-one! I look forward to working with you so that others may enjoy the gift I bring to the world. I grew-up in beautiful Colorado and bring the peace and power of Mother Nature to you subtly and peacefully!

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform English (US style), British style, Italian style, New York style, and California style, Michigan style, and Massachutsett's style. I read childrens' books very well and love to sing childrens' books, too. Dr Suess and Nursery rhymes are so much fun!
I have sung broadway and contemporary music but don't prefer country or Southern accents. I can monologue and narrate documentaries additionally. I have had voice training in high school and college and can play piano.

My Voice Experience

I performed high school and college theatre for six years and led the church congregation for four. Church choirs three years. Taught Kindergarten one year, and preschool for two years. I participated in high school speach (poetry) for three years and high school choir with leading solos every year for four years. I have had sales jobs for five years and been active as a storyteller for my children for ten years. I look forward to working with you and broadening my experience with you in new areas, too!

My Training

I have an Associates degree in liberal arts.
I completed and certified as a certified nursing assistant and discontinued my nursing training after a back and shoulder injury. Prior to children and marriage, I served in the US Navy as a way to see the world as a certified electrician which enabled me to certification in Electrician "A" school. I have worked in sales at least five years and will be pursuing a business degree in the fall. I am a diversified person who has done many things in life. I love living and learning new things. I have always found a way to keep art alive in my life no matter what I have to do to make a living. Art through music, voice vocations, dance, music, and nature make my life sane in an insane world. I learn through doing and much reading. Training comes from within and outside the covers of a book. Training is seen through our work in the community and in our different careers. I have done many things because life seems so short and time not long enough to hang-on too. My memories and songs and stories are precious to me. Life never ends it just keeps giving us beautiful experiences!

My Studio Equipment

I have keyboard, some fantastic Kenwood speakers, computers, and a karoke machine. I have not yet aquired studio equipment. I have access to a sound studio if necessary, though. I would like to start with some basic readings and then do some studio type work when I have made enough money to pay for the use of Keith's sound studio.

Additional Skills

Attitude and dedication are everything. I am very honest and enthusiatic. I can relate to the importantance of voice deflection and realize how important clear, well defined communication can be, especially in our techno-orientated world! Let's forge some fun and success all at once! That is how life was meant to be lived!
