My Voice Experience

I am a "newbie" and have not had a audition yet. I made my demo in February 2009. Public speaking is a large part of my current occupation; I have given many presentations and taught and trained numerous classes.

My Training

Bachelors Degree with a major in Psychology, and minors in English and Education. I have done amultitude of presentations to large groups and taught and trained on an individual basis and to large groups.

Additional Skills

My speaking skills were developed from many of my life experiences and jobs. From waitressing I gained people skills; as parish secretary I learned the art of speaking with compassion, patience and the use of soothing tones. The ability to speak with an authoritative tone, I gained from teaching religious education classes to grades one to nine. Being a demonstrator and sales trainer for twenty-four years provided me with the opportunity to learn many skills: articulation, diction, and voice projection. My history as a vocalist gave me the skill of understanding the connection between words and feelings. Raising four children provided me with a plethora of skills I couldn't possible get anywhere else as well as a great sense of humor!
