My Training

Kathryn has a Bachelor of Elementary Education Degree and a Master of Education in English Degree from the University of Alberta.

Kathryn has done voice training with Jonathan Love and Paul Boucher at Willmott Communication Services in Calgary Alberta. She completed the Voice-Over Introduction Course as well as the Intensive Training for Microphone Performance in 2005 and 2006.

Kathryn has also had extensive training at the University level in Drama and Voice and starred in university and community theatre in No Sex Please We're British (lead), The Imaginary Invalid (lead), Agamemnon, (lead) and Oklahoma (minor character, song and speaking),

Kathryn has access to several excellent professional recording studios just minutes from her home and can also record and email sound files upon request.

Additional Skills

Kathryn has been a judge for the Alberta Speech and Debate society for the past 4 years.

She also has executive experience in the field of contractual preparation and communications in the field of Engineering and Planning which makes her a great choice for technical reading and interpretation of complex texts.

Kathryn's experience as an elementary teacher and as a teacher of English to adults has contributed to the building of a body of characters and has helped her to develop the extensive range and quality of her speaking and singing voice.
