I started as a radio news reporter in high school some 20 years ago. More recently, I've found work doing commercial voiceover for three local radio stations. I've done an eBay-like yard sale show including promos and commercial breaks during the program. You might hear me on the occasional phone system. I have more than 20 years' experience.
A graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland in 1993, I've been an actress since the age of three. Productions include: The King and I, Peter Pan, Annie Get Your Gun, Cinderella and others.
As a former newspaper reporter and radio news reporter, I learned to read with gravitas.
I'm a writer, so I have been able to successfully copy-edit lengthy copy without losing its meaning. My writing has garnered me praise and several awards, including a 1st Place for newswriting in 2005 at the Chesapeake Publishing Editorial Conference--a meeting of more than 13 newspapers from around the Chesapeake region. I took home "Best in Show" for my enterprise reporting on cancer survivors.
