I am a woman who has delighted in parenting - two wonderful children who are close to each other and treasure their family ties - I am the one other children and my friends come to when they have a problem and need a willing ear to listen and a warm hug to tell them that they are all right.

I enjoy sports. I have golfed for many years, encouraged by a husband who golfs. I am also an avid fan of baseball, football, and soccer, perhaps because my son played them all and is still involved professionally with soccer.

I have sung and acted all my life - my father was a marvelous actor who shared much with me, and my mother gave me a fine singing voice and joy of singing.

I adore animals and very comfortable around any kind.
