Voice Description

I can do calm slow voices to energetic hyper ones. I look at voice acting like life, lines are experiences and emotions, and just because you've never had them before that moment doesn't mean that you have to pretend to react, instead you must actually react, seize the moment.

I've had experience playing a young teenager in a drama searching for her lost uncle (this was a podcast), and I've also done voice overs for online review shows, and I've hosted a regular online community web show that required both voice over and on camera speaking.

My Voice Experience

I'm just the ate beginning of my career, I have experience and have worked with knowledgeable voice coaches during previous jobs. I'm not as experienced as some, but I'm not completely new to this industry either. I have a passion, a drive, and good voice. I think being some what new to all of this makes me willing to take chances and try new things, I won't be held back and I'll always be open to exploring new venues.

My Training

I've had limited training with a voice acting coach, I've also completed some basic college drama courses as well as a college speech class.

My Studio Equipment

I do not currently own or have access to any audio equipment, but I am familiar with boom mics, hand help mics, and the mics used in sound booths.

I'm also familiar with the sound software Cubase, though it's been awhile since I've had to use it.

Additional Skills

I have experience doing improv acting in front of large crowds that required crisp, clear speech that was well projected.

I've also worked as journalist, conducting interviews, reporting on events, as well as creating written articles, reviews and scripts. While much of that was in the form of written word, it's helped given me a great understanding of how to make things flow. It also allows me to draw from a vast pool of experience.
