Originally from Georgia, I now reside in Los Angeles with my husband and daughter. My subtle southern accent has been put to good use in years of entertaining audiences and teaching students as an actor, public speaker, and facilitator. My voice over credits range from the upbeat spokesperson for a Japanese variety show to the professional, warm voice in Walt Disney World training videos.

With over 18 years of acting experience, I am also able to create characters for animation and video game projects such as the super strict teacher, the overly protective mom, the teen who knows everything, the preppy girl, the nosy neighbor, the affectionate guidance counselor, the monotone librarian, etc.

I can have an authentic southern accent because I grew up in Georgia. A suburb called Jonesboro (home of "Gone with the Wind"). And I can also do a Standard British accent.

My Voice Experience

I started my voice over career with character work for a website called "Coach Bigot," followed by an animated pilot entitled "High Seas" in which I played a female pirate (the smooth and sultry kind not arr...matey). I have done commercials and voice over as an American news anchor for the Japanese food brand, Ajinomoto.
I've done narrations for training videos at the Walt Disney World Resort. And I've done recordings of pre-show announcements for the L.A. theatre company, Vox Humana.

My Training

I earned my B.A. in Theatre from Berry College in 1994 and have over 18 years of experience onstage. I have also been in lead or supporting roles in over a dozen films. Amd I am currently studying voice over with David Lawrence, author of "Secrets of Voicework."

Additional Skills

I was a public speaker for "Making It Count" programs for high school students in 2003. And was a facilitator and trainer for the Walt Disney World Resort from 1997-2002. I also speak conversational-level Spanish.
