Voice Description

I have a young sounding voice that is warm, friendly and professional. I am also an actor, with experience in improv, so I can range from sexy to goofy very easily.

I can do a variety of accents, the most authentic of which are American -- southeastern (TN/NC), midwestern (Chicago/MN/WI) and Long Island. I am comfortable with British (upper and lower), Irish and Scottish, and cartoonish with German, French, Russian and Mexican. I have a good ear and can pick something up easily if I have it to listen to.

My Voice Experience

My commercial experience ranges from home design stores, to plush orangutans to menopause supplements. I have a great deal of toy experience (both commercial and toy fair), as well as a radio spot for the Red Cross with Larry King. (other products include contact lenses, no-bake bakery sets and the Creative Learning Super Draw... which defies an easy description)

I have done dubbing for the number one Turkish television show, World of Secrets, and have a lot of radio play and radio comedy experience.

I am also a reader for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, and very interested in pursuing audiobook work.

My Training

I have taken commercial classes with Jeff Barber, audiobook classes with Robin Miles (Narration Arts) and Grover Gardner (Edge Studios).

I have a degree in Theatre from Yale University and a certificate from the British American Drama Academy for participation in their Shakespeare Programme.
