My Voice Experience

Once known as "One Take Kate", my voice over talent work has included all types of 30's and 60's for radio and tv including character, straight, hard and soft sell. Industrial work has included instructional cds for Kodak and Xerox products and for sales and training. Phone service prompt systems for hotel wake up calls, and health management. Promotional voice overs for Rochester NY Chamber of Commerce and Highland Hospital. I have done confidential technical language voice overs for law firms in copyright cases.

My Training

My training for voice work happened while I was an Accounts Executive at Associated Communications in Rochester NY. While getting started in radio sales, I began doing an on-air shift to supplement my income. This branched out into producing ads for my clients, then I began getting hired by agencies for voice work. I had the "pipes" and my involvement in local theatre helped me to "act the part".
