I've done one voice over dvd for an accounting group at a friend's studio, and the voice was a crisp yet friendly "Murphy Brown"-only younger rendition. I have been told it really did sound like Candice Bergen. He morphed my voice several ways, making it sound like a sibilant gay man as well as a small child. It was lots of fun, and the accountants were very pleased. I've been too busy to devote more time to this until recently, so here I am now!
I have a bachelor's degree in political science.
I've worked in sales and customer service for many years, and currently work in a call center for a major communications company. I have written restaurant reviews for magazines, local-color articles for in-house publications, and even written training manuals, as well as legal documents and research briefs. I have won an award for a historic preservation article also.
I have no studio of my own, and have not done voice over work for a while, but I am comfortable with the studio technician's presence and am willing to take direction from the staff and client.
I'm friendly, dependable, flexible, and prompt. I'm willing to travel and work odd hours if needed. I can also upgrade my home computer system to meet the client's needs.
