I fell ass backwards into radio! Is that okay to say? My background like many others is in music and drama. My passion carried me all over our great nation and through much of Europe. I loved every minute of it, but I hit the age(it's different for every one)where things like floating around, keeping strange hours, and not having a permanent adress were getting old....as was I. It was time to settle down, just a little. I grew up in restaurants and loved hospitality, so off to culinary school. Love the food, but again with the strange hours. So, I wandered into a local radio station one day, had a lengthy sit down with the station manager, auditioned then and there, and started on air the very
next day. After a CRASH course in "the board" I was live on the air....I took to it like a fish to water. It felt like home. Finally all the traing, all the life experience was being put to use in ways I never imagined. Soon I was writing my own copy and producing my own commercials. It's been truly magical. There is something about painting a picture with one's own voice. That's what I do! Let me translate your vision to the world!
Years of theatre training have taught me the power of voice. Projection, tone, control. I am also and have
sung on many local commercials. I have over five years of radio experience. Five years as a d.j. and in commercial voice over. Plus five years of production. Through my radio career I've also been fortunate to do man on the street style journalism and ofcourse many live interviews.
I have full access to a studio. We have
Extensive knowledge in various cuisines, and a jack of all trades lifestyle helps me to find something to chat about with any one. And it helps connect a project with it's listeners. A passion for literature and film help in the development of charachters, as well. Hard work and professionalism are the most important things in business and bring the highest pay off.
