My voice is petite and feminine, clear and intelligent. I have good diction. I can go from a small giggly/whiny girls voice, or an authoritative, confident womans voice. I can be comforting or harsh. I can be serious and passionate, full of emotion, or detached and aloof. I can be fun and witty as well as angry and cruel. I have a voice that is appealing and well suited to the world of voice overs. It's the kind of voice that commands that u listen without being forceful or fake. It is clean and proffessional, good for Voiceovers, acting, commercials, cartoons, narrations, commentaries,and many other things.

My Voice Experience

I have always found that I can catch a listeners attention. One time I was making a presentation to the class, and we had to teach our fellow students something. Some people went before I did, and people just weren't participating, not asking questions, answering anything, just nothing. Then it was my turn and I just managed to get my classmates involved, to my own surprise. They raised their hands, asked questions, answered ones I had for them. They all actually seemed interested. Another time I had to read a few verses in church and afterwards I had a lot of people tell me that I had just the voice for catching and captivating peoples attention. I once was very shy and speak very much, and now that I have confidence, it always surprises me that people listen to me and take what I say seriously. I went on a missionary trip to Kenya once, and I had to speak to strangers, some of them hardly knowing what I was saying, but I managed to get my message through, even with all the language barrier. I have been in some school plays in which I had to play a rather masculine rough sounding, southern lunch lady in Squeal, then in The Music Man, I had to play a Watani child, a teenager having fun at a dance, and a rather nosy and gossipy Pick a Little Talk a Little lady. I also have a lot of singing experience, and am trained. I have not had a lot of experiences, but I am a dedicated worker, great with people, ages from 1 to 100, and have an infectious confidence that would be well suited with a voice over job, or becoming a voice actor.

My Training

I have not had a great deal of training, but public speaking comes very natural to me. I have been in a creative writing class, so I am good with words, and because of all the presentations we have,also because of the plays I have done, I am ver confident and comfortable speaking in front of people. I am in an honors level chorus, and have been professionally trained. My diction is precise and clear, just by nature itself, and I have had many opertunities for public speaking. Even though I have not been professionally trained I believe I am very capable in my speaking abilities.

I am knowledgeable in computer software, manual and digital photography, childcare, creative writing, and music. Creative writing is a passion I wish to persue in my life, and to further develope. Music also, is something that I could never live without. I have had a great love affair with both, and hope that they will forever be a part of my life. I also have experience and talent with hair and makeup application and have some acting experience.
