Voice Description

Being a natural RP English speaker I believe my day to day voice to be clear and engaging with a hint of sensuality.
This sensuality is often deepened for certain narrations especially when playing older characters or for commercials.
However, I also have a wide range of cartoon character voices again suitable for commercials as well as animations and video games.
Presentations and continuity often call for a warm tone that fits well with either my natural voice or one of the various accents I can also do

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My Voice Experience

I only entered the voice over world late in 2008 and have been very fortunate to already have gained work. This included a book promotion in which I 'played' two characters, the first being Lorna - a sex hungry 40 year old whose sensuality and sexuality leads her to fame and fortune.
The second character was that of Lucy - a 20 year old student discovering herself in all areas of her life. Both were strong women to play yet both had their own insecurities to be hinted at.

I have also had several voice overs in short films including Stevie in 'Half Empty' in which she is writing her suicide note. A very desperate young woman yet one who is ready to face up to her lonely life and her final decision to end it.
The second being Katie in 'After Midnight' again another letter, however, nothing is definite with Katie who is torn between the man she loves and her super horo lifestyle - for the moment she decides to choose love, which, inevitably, leads to tragedy.

My Training

I trained at Drama Studio London on the 1 Year Postgraduate Acting Course where I was taught by Jilly Bond in Radio Drama.

I recently completed my voice reel and radio drama reel with Bernard Shaw.

Since graduating I have perfomed in many short films, several stage plays including Shakespeare, cabaret shows and comedy sketch shows.

My Studio Equipment

Due to being so recent to the voice over world I do not have my own equipment but do have access to a studio and equipment.
I am also willing to travel to clients' preferred studios.

Additional Skills

Being an actress I adore going to the theatre and watching films which always assist with my next project.
When working I find music of all genres a great tool in creating the character and enjoy finding unknown pieces and bands.

Being based in London I am incredibly lucky to have access to some fantastic galleries and museums and I'm a frequent visitor to the National Portrait Gallery and the V & A which are wonderful inspiration especially for historical projects.

However I do relish the chance to escape home to Gloucestershire and the countryside for yet another perspective on life - as well as fresh air a quick trip to local pub!
