My Voice Experience

In 1998 I recorded my first voiceover for Stanback Headache Powder, and found that I not only enjoyed it, but did it quite well. Since then I have worked for clients in radio, such as Anderson Homes and Mechanics and Farmers Bank, in television such as Touchstone Energy and GSK, and for industrial training videos such as Brightline Compliance. I truly enjoy taking my client's ideas from a script and giving them depth and richness- dimension, if you will. That is why I call my company 3D Communications; I give life to ideas with my voice.

It's more than just "entertainment"; the importance of advertising cannot be understated, and often a voice (musical or spoken) can become inextricably linked to the entity it is advertising. How many times have we driven down the road humming a jingle, wondering, "Now how did that get into my head?" or how many times have we passed a store and a piece of their advertising popped into mind? Advertising influences, and I am heavily invested in helping my clients expand their influence through quality production. I offer flexibility in talent and in the delivery of product because I am as serious about your success as I am about mine. And I am equally as serious about earning your trust and repeat business.

My Training

I have been acting in plays since I was very young, and have always enjoyed theater. I was also very active in pageants and oratorical competitions. I currently do public speaking and workshop facilitating, in addition to my voiceover work. I also am an accomplished singer, who has been singing background since age 11, and am very capable singing lead as well.

In order to hone my Spanish skills, I chose to obtain a B.A. in Spanish, as well as to study abroad in Mexico and to invest in interpreter training to better understand and relay the language with which I have fallen so deeply in love. I am a fan of Spanish, and am committed to speaking it in a manner that is authentic, respectful of its beauty and culturally competent. It's a joy and privilege to have such music flow from my mouth!
