Voice Description

Hello,

I have a natural deep voice. It's very smooth and can be easily heard over a crowd. If you sit close to me or put your hands on me while I speak you will feel the strong vibrations. If I whisper the right way you can hear me from across the room.

I can be very warm for narrations or smooth and professional for documentaries, presentations or movie trailers. I can also be loud, evil and scary.

What I would really like to do and I think is my highlight, is movie or animation characters. I have a great voice for characters such as 'Megatron' and 'Optimus Prime' from the 2007 Movie "Transformers" also 'Mufasa' from the "The Lion King".

I am Bilingual as well. My native tongue is Egyptian Arabic. I grew up in Canada so I can also speak North American English. I can speak both languages very fluently. I can speak NA English with or without an Arabic accent; though it is natural to me to speak it without an accent. The same goes for Arabic. I can speak it with a North American accent, but it is natural to me not to.
However I can only read and write in English. I can speak all other dialects of Arabic from the Middle East.

My Voice Experience

I would say about 7 out of 10 people that I meet, the first thing they say to me when I open my mouth is "Oh my God, you have a deep voice". Then they would go on to ask me if I've ever done any voice services like radio voices or anything along those lines.

In High School I was periodically asked to do the morning announcements, although I wasn't on the student council and it wasn't my job to do them. The people that were in charge of the announcements were just so impressed with my voice that it became a special treat for the student body to have me do the announcements.

I never had a formal voice over job because this is the first time that I actively look for one. I did however do many informal jobs for friends and family. Through out High School and University I would do voice over narrations for all my friends' class presentations. They would even ask me to record their voice mail messages for them.
Sometimes when my friends and I would want to skip class in High School, I would pretend I am their father and call in sick for them. It worked every time.

I had a lot of fun growing up with my voice. I should’ve put it to good use a long time ago.
