Voice Description

I'm able to do various voices from "classic announcer" to narrative to conversational. I can exude warmth, sarcasm, and joy and at the same time I can give a modulated professional presentation. I am also capable of comic/cartoon voices and would enjoy creating a voice for a new character.

My conversational voice is mid to lower range (baritone to tenor 2 singing voice).

My Voice Experience

My official voice over experience is very limited, however I have recorded sound tracks and narrations to company presentations and sketches. I have also recorded accented work for an English as a Second Language educational CD set.

My Training

Training includes years of choir and theater. Tonality is crucial to reaching your audience and I have experience with many audiences.

Samson High Def USB mic with noise suppression. Records into Dell XPS Media Desktop. Minimal editing capabilities at this time.

Additional Skills

I have given a number of oral presentations in a range of different setting. From sports to theater to hospitality to corporate, I have given speeches to hundreds, sung to thousands, presented to small groups and counseled individuals. Each of these settings require a different approach and a different style. Talking to a group of people about raising funds for a charity, for example, is very different from speaking to a board of directors about their profit margins and expected losses which, in turn, is very different from presenting "tonight's specials" to a table full of hungry people.

Having had real-world and practical experience with each of these settings has helped me develop my voice. Additionally, the attitude I bring to the narrative reflects the nature of the conversation and the audience.

A good performer has to balance his or her creativity with the practical needs of the project or performance. Bridging the gap between the two is a learned skill, one I have honed over the years.

Finally, as a budding artist in a competitive field, I am eager to build my repertorie and am hungrier for your business than others may be. All of these attributes together will serve your project extremely well.
