Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My natural speaking voice is a very clear & even English speaking Voice.

However having lived in Newcastle for 30 Years I can speak in the Geordie Dialect & Accent.

My Voice Experience

In December 2011 I was asked to provide a Voice Over for a series of short Films for the Prison Service called "Finding Jamie" ( Reuben Abraham - Intrinsic Lines), focusing on supporting the Families of Prisoners.

The Director felt that my Voice had the right balance of Warmth, Sincerity & Empathy which not only matched the Tone of the Films perfectly but would also connect to its audience i.e. the Families of Prisoners, a group of people often forgotten.

This was my First & only Voice Over experience to date.

My Training

Being a Freelance Training Consultant I actually talk for a living, so I regard my Voice as an intrinsic Tool I use daily. Diversity & versatility in my Voice are imperative as I have to constantly change & amend my Voice to match the content of the Training material, Subject Matter, Audience, Demographic & Geographical Location to enhance the learning experience.
