My Voice Experience

Professional Public Speaker with over seven years experience. I speak to live audiences on a regular basis as well as to classrooms and large groups of children. I am managed under my own LLC called Families In Touch, where I am able to list all the various seminars and public speaking engagements I attend.
I also have experience in Storytelling, children's drama, public theatre and radio PSA's.
I have done voice overs for non-profits and t.v. voice overs for the local university during women's health awareness campaigns.

My Training

U of KY and U of Louisville - Major in Communications. My minor was in Theatre and I took voice training classes during this time as well.
I am a Public Speaker and record my own audio cd's live and at home wih my own equipment in order to distribute as promo's for my speaking engagements. I haven spoken for numerous professional organizations live and recorded or via teleconference, including the following: Dept. for Juvenile Justice, Kids Are Worth It, FRYSCky and the Fed. Violence Awareness Prevention program. As well as at over 350 schools in the past seven years.

Also currently work in part-time Children's Ministry and am the head of the Drama Team for our local Church Community. We occassionally record videos on which I also do voice over recordings and/or narrate the videos.

My 'accent' is unique and fairly nuetral sounding due to the fact that I have moved over 37 times in my life and have lived in numerous states across the country...My accent does come with a touch of a Southern hint to it from having lived in the south now for ten years now.
I love to talk and my husband wishes I would get paid per word!
I also write, am an author and am easy to work with.
I am a fanatic about correct pronunciation in voice overs and rarely say Um, Uh, Ya know...also am able to improvise and get my point across easily and directly due to my Public Speaking experience. I would love to do additional voice acting, voice overs for books, cd's and voice over work for professional presentations.
