Voice Description

For public speaking, my tone is direct, clear, smooth, and succient;very professional. Whenever I am reading poetry to my students or telling a story, I speak with feeling, by ad-living and bringing the characters to life.
For commericals, my tone would be fun, sexy, upbeat, depending on the type of commerical. I speak English, but because of being raised in the south, I have a hit of a southern accent.

My Voice Experience

I presently an a school teacher and have taught high school for the last 9 years. I have experience in public speaking. I am a published writer of poetry with Poetry.com. I want to break into the industry to do voiceover work. I also have a great singing voice and would like to do background singing and record a C.D.

My Training

I have an Assosiate Degree in Arts and Sciences and a Bachlor Degree in English, with minors in Education and Spanish. I have college music and voice training, I play the guitar and write songs. I have no formal voiceover training, but I am willing to train and learn.

Additional Skills

Not only am I a published writer, I have also sang at weddings, written songs for a childerns choir, and danced ballet on stage. I was in a band in high school as a lead singer and I have won talent competitions and compted at state level. I have been told by a music teacher that my voice was a gift from God. I would love the chance to do voiceovers in any capacity.
