My voice is a smooth mixture of outgoingness bubbliness and the maturity of my middle years. Although I am American, I can do several British accents and naturally sound Canadian, on some occasions. I enjoy emphasizing words in different ways to get the maximum effect. I would enjoy doing many different types of voicing--including commercials, smoothly professtional phone hold messages, and scripts which match my natural speech flow.

My Voice Experience

I always have enjoyed reading--both verbally and silently and have always been a natural, able to pick up a script and instantly read it with feeling. In a recent "Voice for Actor" junior college course, had the opportunity to play several diverse parts in live Reader's Theater.a,dder's Theater". Smooth friendliness has alwys been the halmark of my answering machine message.

My Training

Even before I could read, my family members were reading aloud to me, a fantastic beginning to a voice career. In my "Voice for Actor" course, the instructor said that I was the only student who could pick up a script and instantly become the character in the assigned reading. Besides my formal gtraining, I did get some recording time in my sound engineering classes, GBeginning and Intermediate. So, in all, although mthe bulk of my education did not address my voice, I am a natural at it.
