My Voice Experience

When I was twelve my voice dropped to that of a baritone, and it's been growing and deepening since. I've been singing all my life, and started recording my voice when I was 16 at a local radio station called KPFA, where I would do Public Service Announcements. I since have recorded myself singing or rapping on several of my songs as well as other people's music. I have also done voice overs for a few student projects at Berklee College of Music.

My Training

I currently am a Jazz Composition Major at the Berklee College of Music. I started singing in chorus groups when I was in elementary school, and began private instruction at 14. I've also been playing the saxophone most of my life, starting at the age of 9. I lead two of my own bands, a live hip-hop band called Owned and Operated, and a 13-piece jazz band called The Lamakire Mark.

Additional Skills

I'm a jazz composition major at Berklee, so I spend most of my time writing music for not only my school, but the multiple bands I am a part of. I'm interested in writing music for commercials as well.
