My back ground is in radio broadcast. I am accustomed to producing excitable, over the top, promotional content along with smooth calm voicing as necessary. I have a natural deep voice, but can augment my pitch to create content all the way up to falsetto with full control. My expertise lies mostly with male voices, from adolescent to elderly. My cartoon characterizations are custom and limitless.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have a wide range of characterizations. Accents include: English(proper), English(cockney), Irish, Scottish, Indian(Asian), Russian, Italian, us southerner, New Yorker, Bostonian, Mainer. I can combine multiple accents to create custom characters.

I can also produce very believable "pseudo" Japanese, Chinese, German. I achieve this by studying native dynamics, timing and delivery of each language.

My Voice Experience

I was born with what some would call either a gift or a disability. Multiple personality disorder. Not the actual psychiatric diagnosis, but something similar I'm sure. How many personalities you may ask? My friends and family over the years have lost count. Growing up It was hard for people who knew me, to guess who I would be from day to day. Or even minute to minute. There were so many voices in my head I needed to manifest. I usually would release them on unsuspecting members of every day society.(to puzzled looks) One thing is certain, aside from driving people nuts, they would comment on how talented I was. And that my impressions, accented characters and wit, where spot on! And that I should use my abilities professionally.

well I did! My background is in radio broadcasting. I have worked at various radio stations, where I did voice tracking, editing and live performance. I created and performed on, a variety radio show called: "the PeboShow" for WERU FM. The show was a regional hit, which gained such listeners as John Fishman; the drummer for the nationally acclaimed jam band "Phish".

I currently do national voice over work with 32 central studios. There, I have done voice overs for national food chains, gum manufacturers and various custom cellphone ring tones, under the direction of Michael Flannery (studio owner and operator) I am looking to expand my professional portfolio here at voice123. I am confident I will do so, due to my focused level of professionalism and talent. by nature I cannot walk away from a project until is done and done right. I feel I am a hidden gem. A "one stop shop" voice-over solution, for the right project.

My Studio Equipment

Electro voice RE-20:

Large diaphragm, dynamic broadcast microphone. The RE-20 has been the Broadcast standard, in almost all radio stations, for the past 25 years. I have grown accustomed to its versatility and sound through my experience in broadcast radio. The RE-20 fits my vocal range perfectly. Footnote: Some engineers swear the RE-20 is the ultimate kick drum microphone.

Adobe Audition:

Again, the radio broadcast standard for software editing and voice tracking in almost every radio station. Most audio software today has borrowed heavily, in function and aesthetics, from Audition's first incarnation: Syntrillium Corporation's Cool Edit pro.
