Voice Description

I am an English speaking male from Central Texas. I have a wide range and combination of vocal styles, including but not limited to: local dialects (Southern U.S., Scotch-Irish, Australian), charicatures (mobsters, pirates, robots) and many narrative styles.
My voice is generally deep and not very abrasive, although I can be made to sound fun-loving, angry, sad, upset, professional, scared, stilted, aloof, etc. Tell me exactly what you want and I will be completely honest about my ability to achieve your goals.

My Voice Experience

Although I have no formal voice acting expirience, I have acted in several amateur productions and am intimately familiar with the ins and outs of voice-over acting. It is a talent I have been honing since I was a freshman in high school.

My Training

In addition to informally studying film, music and most other forms of art, I am currently or have been involved in: music production and recording, performing arts, video journalism, film and sound editing, screenwriting and secretarial services.
I spent three of my four years in high school in a theatre arts program. There I gained acting, announcing and voice coaching expirience.
I have personally studied many animated films and their voice over talents (including Mel Blanc). I have a very firm grasp of the pronunciation, inflection and pacing of language.

Additional Skills

While having only a basic working knowledge of the Spanish language, I completely understand its physicality. I obviously still have an American accent, but could fool some audiences.
I have a developed singing ability but I don't plan on using it very often in this line of work. The only realm of use I can foresee would be in the development of a character. In so many words, I don't do jingles.
