Voice Description

Character specialist. I can do various animal character voices, or stereotypes such as nerds, jocks, big kids, surfers, emo, dumb kids. Pretty much anything that you can think of I can try. I have many accents at my disposal (english (upper, cockney, and yorkshire), irish, scottish, indian, southern, italian (mobster), georgia, new york, etc). My usual voice I utilize for a soft, sensible light tone that conveys an honesty and trust with the listener. But, as a character specialist, I try a million things all the time so, whatever you need, I'll give it a go.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Character and dialect specialist. Currently able to do Scottish, Yorkshire, Upper English, Cockney, Australian, Indian, Native American, Spanish, Mexican, Canadian, Brooklyn, Jewish, and many more. I love to impersonate, if there is a specific famous person you'd like me to try out I can develop similiar speech patterns and impersonate to the best of my ability. My true voice is lighter but very down to earth in tone. I have the ability to do all sorts of stereotypical voice patterns for heroes, villains, soldiers, cartoon characters, and various archetypes for animation and videogames.

My Training

My initial training was in San Jose State University where I recieved a BA in Film and a Minor in Theatre. I took many radio classes there and did a few PSA's for the local radio station. I also have a lot of experience with theatre. I trained with Company One Musical Theatre Troupe with Janie Scott. I've performed all over the bay area with various companies: 42nd Street Moon, Willows Theatre, TheatreWorks, Tony and Tina's Wedding, Hillbarn Theatre, West Valley Light Opera, Actor's Theatre Center, and Cabrillo Stage. I've also directed a few short films for festivals and I primarily did all audio and video editing so I can find my way around a computer easily.

My Studio Equipment

I'm currently practicing with BR-8 Boss Digital Recording Studio and Audix OM2 microphone but I can definitely drive to any studios if needed.

Additional Skills

I take direction very well. I love doing cold reads. I've auditioned countless times and realize that making clear concise choices give directors a foundation to form and mold the performance into exactly what they want. I think it's great fun.
