Voice Description

Many people say I sound like Don LaFontaine. Up until now all I've done are some internet ads for my friend's radio stations. although I wish to remain humble, I consider myself an untapped resource in the voice market. I have a pretty good range but in general my voice is "deep sexy and smooth" with a professional touch.

I have extensive public speaking and acting experience from school and my teachers always told me that my voice was to die for.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have lived up and down the east coast, the west coast, and Europe. I am the only American in a completely "Euro" family, and although I don't normally speak with any noticeable accent I can play the "foreigner" quite well. More specifically, German or Italian accents. I Can do a myriad of different voices and change the tone of my voice on the drop of a time because my entire life I have studied the way people speak and I do impressions of them inside my own mind (sortof an OCD thing)

My Voice Experience

I really don't have any official voice over experience but I did alot of acting / public speaking in school and currently work on some film projects with my friends. I won awards in highschool for Poetry reading. I did alot of narrator roles for theatre in college because people would instantly think of me as "the perfect voice". I work in midtown as a shipping coordinator / systems analyst so I never really persued it as a career because I never invested the time in researching the option. Even as a side job, I would love to get involved. I am completely confident that I have a "one of a kind" sound that could be used for many types of projects.

My Training

I am an art major with focus on acting and directing. I have extensive experience in public speaking and debate. I learned about voice-overs from teachers and friends.

My Studio Equipment

I don't have my own studio but I have a good computer with a great sound card. I am proficient with audio recording software such as Audacity. I have a fantastic microphone which could atleast give a fairly accurate idea of what I sound like.

I don't have the experience in the studio because I never explored my options. Regardless, I am very capable with technology and learn quickly.
