I only speak english north american nothing else fluently but I consider my dialect and accent to be fairly neutral when I read scripts. As far as different types of voices I can do a variety of voices not too many impressions though. I've been told I have a very deep voice some have said it's sexy and manly or hypnotic even soulfoul.

My Voice Experience

Well as far as my experience goes I'm only 25 years old so I've been learning a lot and gaing more experience. A few months ago I did a few NBA commercial promos for ESPN. That was big a boost for my voice over career. I've also recently set up a automated phone system for a NYC company along with a few radio promos/commercials.

My Training

I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Education. I took Public Speaking classes in college and the professor is the one who told me that I should look into doing voice overs. I also took a voice over dialect seminar at the College of Staten Island, I've worked really hard to neutralize the typical NY area accent like "how you doin". But most importantly I took a one on one class with one of the most brilliant, talented, and established voice over artists in the industry especially in the NY area. His name is Ed Green he's been a voice over artist for over 30 years and if you've turned on the tv/radio or called up to find out about a movie you wanted to see you've definetly heard his voice before. He was profound in his knowledge and expertise in this business and instilled a passion for professionalism in the work you put out. He taught me how to really take control of my voice, evoke various emotions through text and most importantly he helped neutralize my dialect since I've grown up in the NY/NJ area. With him as a mentor and always believing I could be such a success he gave me the confidence to accomplish the goals I've set forth for myself in the voice over industry.
