my voice is full and resonant. I have had 10 years singing tenor/alto in choirs so my voice is in the lower range for a female. Warm and deep where credibility is required (book recordings, radio jobs, voice over jobs, sweet and light for character roles, advertisements, seductive and languid for voiceovers and adult industry work.

My Voice Experience

Recorded experience in radio segments; advertisements and programmes (singing only), speaking publicly and reading in paid and unpaid capacities (everything from reading in church, training workers, teaching and demonstrating counselling skills, lecturing in huge lecture halls where voice projection is everything, leading seminars, delivering speeches and eulogies in my busy frenetic private world away from work!!! Yelling effectively at children and demonstating controlled rage!

My Training

Voicework has been associated with singing and with occupations which involve public speaking. Extensive choral singing experience as an alto/tenor. Numerous workshops focussing on voice projection and control. 12 years working as a university lecturer/ tutor where primary role was to communicate information clearly to students of all ages and ethnic backgrounds (where English may be minimal); journalism experience with high level skills in written and spoken English in radio and print media.
