My Voice Experience
In 2007 I decided that I wanted to get started in a carear as a voiceover talent. I trained professionally in the studio and fine tuned my acting, improv, speaking, and studio knowledge.
I became overwhelmed with how to market my voice, find jobs and work a full time nanny job all at the same time so until now I never really pursued my dream of becoming a professional voiceover artist. Now I am serious about a full time voiceover carear and hope you won't judge the fact that I have no jobs under my belt. I have plenty of studio experience and have had great teachers in the field.
I was an extra in the movie Double Platinum, and in several local plays as a child.
My Training
I trained with the Creative Voice Developement Group In Syracuse NY. I received over 13 hours of professional Studio training with them.
I trained with a voiceover acting coach in studio, reading copy, acting, and improv. I have about 10 hours of studio time with this class.
I took acting classes at Suffolk County Community College.
I took a voice over adult education class on the basics of voice developement.
My Studio Equipment
At this time I have only a computer and a Mic. I am willing to go to any studio within 3 hours of New York City.
Additional Skills
I take direction well, am creative, fun, and hard working, and very friendly. I also sing and play a little guitar, recite shakespeare, and love reciting and mimicking lines from movies. I was a nanny so I have great knowledge in how a childs mind works and how to creatively grab the attention of a child with my reading skills. I write children's books, and poetry. I used to work the medical bills in an insurance company so I have an understanding of many insurance and medical terms that may be useful in certain spots.
