My main experiences are singing, and telephone work. Interviewing the public.
i gained a degree as a mature student and studied French/Irish/English BA 2.2 in humanities. I dropped the French as it took up too much of the course work and I was more interested in literature and politics .
I have done home recordings on a portastudio and have been in 24 track recording studios and worked on 8 & 16 track studios. I haven't done any music for a long time. but i have a good ear for it , and a good sense of timing rhythm and syntax.
i am mot overly intellectual. I struggled and worked hard to get a degree as i had left home and school to come to london and work. I have had many jobs.
I am currently doing a secretarial /admin diploma and have set up my own website
I am looking at ways to supplement my income. I knew people when i did market research for the film industry who did voice overs. I didn't feel confident about that. I have since then looked into it a bit more and thought why not.
garageband which is essentially a recording studio with instruments and sound effects.
I currently work in a hospital and am logged into a phone all day.
I have to be calm and knowledgeable and helpful, also authoritative and sympathetic.
The voice is used to assert any of the above.
My voice can be musical when with friends or story telling as I have done some singing and also am a keen writer.
I must insist I am not experienced.
I am approaching this as a beginner. I am hoping I may be able to produce a recording and considered for any small project. I can't afford to pay to make a demo. That is why I would like to approach you with a demo of your choice.
