Voice Description
Since childhood I have always "played" with my voice. I have numerous voices that I am very familiar with and use often but am also able to create new ones depending upon a character that is described for a voice over job. My voice can go from a cartoonish small boy to a southern belle style, to deep, scary male voices so would be perfect for numerous voiceover jobs. For narration, my voice reflects my Southern California upbringing so that there are no noticeable accents but instead a soothing, calm tone.

My Voice Experience
My experience with using my voice mainly consists of playing with others. Im often asked to speak in various voices for entertaining others. Two specific voices are ones that everyone enjoys but are typically very taken aback from. I was a small, blond haired, blue eyed little girl that would often do what I think of as tripping my throat to enable my voice to change to a very deep masculine one. In the last few years my children have began to think of another of my voices, nick-named Smork, as a separate friend. My youngest in particular acts as if her friend just showed up when I begin speaking in this voice.

Additional Skills
I have a Masters degree in Public Administration and am currently working on a Doctorate in business Administration so am very familiar with business terms and systems for work with business readings. I have taught both business and computer software classes at an AA level.
I have been interested in doing voice over jobs for many years but have only recently decided to pursue the opportunity to use my abilities with voice over work as I move through my PhD program. I am interested in both voice acting and voicemail activities including voicemail greetings, voicemail messages, and on hold messaging.
