I am very versatile. I love a challenge that ranges from a deep, smooth and professional voice for presentations and 'serious' commercials and a sensuous laid back voice for spa commercials. My voice can be fun and exciting for a theme park or empathetic and serious for an assisted living commercial. I can also cut a mean-spirited political ad with the best of them. I love to create voices too ranging from a mean, cranky old witch for Halloween (with a great cackle!) to an uppity British servant.

- Experience, training, and equipment
  I have done hundreds of TV and Radio commercials over the past two years, and my voice is in increasing demand. I am known as "one-take Julie" because I am quick and intuitive with my reads. However, I am open to specific instruction and am very accommodating to my clients. I also do Station ID's and am open to other types of work such as video games and audiobooks. I have a degree in Advertising and specialize in copywriting ads. I have worked as a newspaper reporter, newspaper editor and have worked as a marketing director at a couple of non-profits. I am currently working as a freelance voiceover talent in addition to doing freelance PR and writing for a variety of clients. I have a home studio where I use a RODE Podcaster Microphone and edit my voice work with Twisted Wave on my MacBook Pro. I save my work to an mp3 and email it to my clients, or I can upload it to an FTP server. I have a huge heart for projects related to non-profits.
