Voice Description

When I answer the phone at work or at home I seem to end up chatting with people because they comment on my voice. I can have a comforting and warm voice for narrations, smooth and intellectual voice for professional, I often sound very young at times for a cartoon character or young teen, I use to sing in a choir, I can do a british or scot's accent, I speak a little spanish but english is my native language.

My Voice Experience

I have not done any voice overs and am trying to break into the business. I use to live in California and I was told that I should do v/o's and was given a card to call the guy. I never followed through and wish I had now. Hence my application toward this field to attempt to gain expierence.

My Training

I am currently taking a Speech course and it brought about my like of speaking out loud. I was told I have expression through my voice by my professor.

Additional Skills

I am an open canvas awaiting to fill with knowledge in this field. I can only attempt to fill it one attempt at a time.
My background is medical, from working in a laboratory to working in the ER as an admitting rep, then working in an imaging center where I answer phones mainly.
I was an extra on a set, another was when a surprise visit from Jay Lenno when he did his "Who got what for Christmas" scenes. That was when he would show up and go to people's homes and ask what you got for Christmas. I was briefly on 60 minutes, twice, once for HIV episode and the other was for the Flu increase.
