My Voice Experience

I have over 15 years of scripted and improv acting experience. I have recorded in both outside studios and also have my own in-home studio for scratch tracks and final cuts. With a background in music and writing as well as acting I can write copy or provide soundtracks to voice pieces. I have recently provided the voice over talent for corporate training videos as well as studio album work.

My Training

I hold a BA in Political Science with an emphasis in Philosophy of Law from the University of Colorado...which doesn't really say much for voice talent beyond that I can yell quite well at the tv during election time. On a more serious note, I have written ad copy, scripts and web/new media content for over 15 years. I have also written for and performed with my band for over 7 years (in various incarnations), providing both lead vocal and rhythm guitar. I am a member of ASCAP and active in my local NSAI chapter.

My Studio Equipment

Mac with Tiger OS and cable internet connection, 2 audio recording programs with MP3 and AIFF file output options, CD and DVD recording capability, Firewire 8 channel mixer, condenser mic with pop guard, built-in soundproofed vocal booth, midi keyboard. Also have access to professional studio within 5 minutes of home.

Additional Skills

I am extremely flexible and can go from a "corporate" voice to that of a fun character with ease. I am attuned to the current market, and work to stay current with what is appealing to a variety of audiences and demographics.
