Character-wise, I've managed to portray both a duplicitous and morally dubious woman and an imaginary fantasy creature preying upon a psychologically vulnerable young woman in the same scene.
Or, to be a little more obvious, I currently regularly provide the voices for both the characters of Arkahn and the Winged Herald of Oren in the fantasy drama podcast Second Shift (secondshiftpodcast.com), which is currently in the running for Best Audio Drama (Long-Form) in the 2007 Parsec Awards, to be announced at Dragon*Con in September. Wish us luck!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies, and still love the field, but the single most useful course I ever took in college was "Dialects of American English". Thanks in large part to that class, I picked up the wide range of accents I currently have available.
I'm a very musical person. I'm a trained alto vocalist and trombone player (classical and jazz).
I'm also an avowed geek. I have extensive experience in system administration, tech support and the like.
