My Voice Experience
Most of my voice was a solid work day for some years as a professional radio announcer. I did wrote and broadcast news and ad copy, had my own music shows; rock, classical, MOR. After i left the business I still used my voice to promote public service and human service announcements and bulletins.
I also presented various workshopsin my job, and my voice was important in getting the point across.
My Training
Since I was a small boy, I wasn't good at sports but I alwasy was in the chorus, singing, in all the plays, always a good speaking part; as I got to high school I signed up for a ll the prize-speaking competitions and drama classes. I took several dram classes at a particular college in the midwest, it included makeup at which I used to do my own in amateur theatre.
I joined my local neighborhood theatre group where I participated in several plays, and in Canada as well. I continued in tis theatre group even as I worked in different radio stations locally and in New England.
My Studio Equipment
The only equipment I have is computer related--presently I can record on CD if need be and since I have had previous knowledge of broadcast studio facilities, I may be able to utilize a local studio if it is necessary. If this venture proves succeeful, I shall be able to accomate clients with a more professional presentation.
Additional Skills
I could some ad copy, editing of various promos if necessary. I majored in English in college with a concentration in writing. I was also a semi pro photographer and contributed to local newspapers both photos and feature stories.
