My Voice Experience
My vocal work has mostly been telephone work, customer service call center jobs and IT help desk call center, also. I would frequently get comments on how clear/nice/pleasant/professional my voice sounded. I was also often mistaken for a recording, because my speech was so perfect. So, I imagine I am really cut out for IVR recordings! My most recent call center experience was LiveOps (Infomercial operator, reading from scripts) and Disney Dining Reservations and Carnival Cruise Line reservations.
Back in the 90s while I was in the Human Resources management & training field, I was assigned the task of recording all information for our company job line. It involved 2 to 4 hours of recording each week, for about 6 months until I delegated it.
