My love of talking came to me "honest" as they say here in the South! I come from a family, indeed a city, of talkers! I was born in Liverpool England and I once told John Lennon that if the group was really serious about "making it big" they should consider a different name as, in my opinion "Beatles" was a bit too yucky!! I said I like to talk not that what I say is always smart!!
I first became interested in doing voice work after being told on countless occasions, how pleasant my voice is and after becoming a fan of audio books. While I did do a voice over in an independent feature film in which I was also one of the leads, my experience has mostly been as a volunteer for the Talking Library here in Nashville. This is a service for blind and visually impaired listeners. I read the Sunday newspaper live and also record books for later presentation. I have pre-recorded fiction for young people and adults, magazine articles and also non-fiction.

I have appeared in several theatre productions in the Nashville area including playing Mrs Macready in "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" (North of England accent), Dona Laura in"A Sunny Morning" (Spanish accent), Ida in "The Cemetry Club" (New York Jewish accent) and Chick in "Crimes of the Heart" (Mississippi - well generic Southern! accent).
