American English (southern, New York or clean, Midwestern/news accent), British English (formal or cockney), Cuban accent (ability to read in Spanish), Mexican accent, African accented English. I can also do impersonations and parodies.
My Voice Experience
I voiced commercials for Burdine's Department Store when I worked in the advertising production department for Federated back in 1998. More recently, I co-hosted a morning drive talk radio show for two years in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market for Radio One, followed by a weekly public affairs program. While at Radio One, I voiced "live read" commercials as well as produced spots, and had several clients for whom I did radio commercials.
My Training
No formal training, although I did take one class with the late Connie Zimmet, here in Florida. I have a bachelor's degree in visual and environmental studies from Harvard University.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a broadcast studio here in Florida. At home, I have Adobe Audition and a Mac system with microphone and audio recording software.
