Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform in several accents for serious or comic characters:

Spanish - much like the typical sexy latino or more with a street feel.
Arabic - Very structured and sharp with a threatening tone and also humble and sincere.
Standard British - Everyday National Geographic type as well as uptight.
East Indian - Comical 'Quickie Mart' owner or heartfelt guru feel.

Of course all of these can be performed at different levels of exageration or stereotype ranging from realistic to over-the-top.

My Voice Experience

My voice-over experience has ranged from public service announcements to live performances to ADR to commercial. I've played the kid next door, the naive customer, a newly converted beer enthusiast, satisfied everyday customer, neurotic disbeliever and a sultry phone sex operator.

My Training

I received a BA in Drama and have been working as an actor since 1996 performing on numerous stages accross the Southwest. My focus on voice work has been extensive particularly since I have performed so much Shakespeare on intimate 75 seat houses as well as 1200 seat outdoor theatres.

During my time on the stage I broke into the voice-over scene first with public service announcements then with commercials such as Redhook Brewery, Brand Source, Starbucks, Honda and several smaller named local businesses.

Most recently I have been performing on numerous television shows here in LA as well as attending voice-specific workshops and classes.

My Studio Equipment

I currently use an Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Condenser Microphone. I pair this up with the simple yet professional Audacity program for editing my work, normalizing it, and exporting it into the desired format.
