My Voice Experience

I'm in the earlier stages of my voice over work right now, having begun my training with Alice Elliot at New York University in an in-studio class and continuing with Anna Garduno, a well known voice over artist working in New York and LA. I bring to the process my experience as both an actor and a writer here in New York.

I have also been a college instructor for over a decade. I communicate easily, having a good feel for bringing text alive and capturing audience attention. I have done narration for short documentaries and voice overs for PSAs.

My Studio Equipment

I am currently using a sound dampening enclosure, a Samson CU3U USB connected mic, recording directly onto Garageband for conversion to Mp3 or other formats. I can also edit using Final Cut Pro's Soundtrack Pro module.

Additional Skills

Besides work as an actor and director, I also have teaching experience that spans over a decade. I think the ability to communicate and engage in a warm and friendly way that generally puts people at ease carries over into my recorded voice work and can reach many audiences. My experience as a martial artist and athlete also lends authenticity to spots that imply physicality.
