Voice Description

My vocal skills are definately honed in acting. I can easily convey different emotions and feelings through tonal changes and fluctuations. Though I do natually have a general Noth American accent, I can emulate many variants of English accents, as well as general New Zealand/Austrailian. I have natural comedic timing, and find this sort of work enjoyable as well as worthwhile. Serious acting, however, is just as prominant in my range of abilities, and I enjoy it just as much.

My Voice Experience

Would being nominated for six emmy awards and three grammys impress you?
Though it is true that I can both act and sing well, I suppose that I should not lie to your face. I have experience in live theater and stage production, appearing in performances of "Guys and Dolls" and "A Chorus Line". And yes, I did have speaking lines. Though I do enjoy the aspect of rambling off memorized lines in front of an audience, I know that it would be no problem what-so-ever to use that talent in recording.

My Training

I have worked with recording since I was about 12, literally. Taking it upon myself, I learned the basics of audio production on a slow, ancient personal computer, and kept upgrading it until I could successfully record and edit tracks to create professional sounding songs. I have had experience with various audio programs, the most prominant ones being Sony's line of audio products (Vegas, Sound Forge, etc.). Though I do know I'm not applying for a position in the technical side, I believe it is not only helpful, but necessary to have an understanding of the production process so that you can meld with the whole production team with ease.

Additional Skills

As stated previously, I do have a great amount of experience with audio production programs such as Sony Vegas and Sound Forge, and have authored many songs on my own. I also have a phenominal sense of pitch, and a great singing voice. Probably the greatest, and most important thing about me, however, is my ability to work extremely well with people, and use my natual god-given patience to work with the project and not against it.
