I've taken vocal training as an actor. As an actor, I bring a character to life when I speak. Whether it's a baby cooing, an old man drinking whiskey on his back porch or a narrator of a space documentary- there is always a character dimension to draw in the listener. I enjoy playing around with goofy animated voices, cutesy character voices and love to make people laugh by making funny noises.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform and maintain a standard British accent. I like to play with dialects quiet a lot and have an ear for them.
For the right project, I am willing to learn any dialect.

My Voice Experience

(Sproy-oy-oing!) Random noises basically amuse me to no end- which means that I get a lot of practice making them. On top of that- I enjoy seeing people smile and hearing them laugh. I do the best I can to pull out strange and funny voices whenever I can get away with it in the general public. I studied voice at the Red Deer College in the theatre program. I was involved in a number of different plays, all of which required vocal acuity and character depth. Throughout my theatre training I've had the chance to attend different dialect workshops and have a good understanding of how the voice works. I look at every character's voice like a challenge and a reward in itself. I love to play. And I play hard.

My Studio Equipment

I own a MacBook. I'm proficient with sound recording and have experience mixing multi-track recordings. I currently use Garage Band due to the fact it's convenient and free. I scored a soundtrack, recorded and mixed the voice over and mastered the tracks on my computer. If there's something you want- open a dialogue and we'll work toward your vision.
