My Voice Experience

I'm new to this world of professional voice acting. I did act in high school and college, and did some competitive reading, but I'm an engineer by degree. However, I've always been a smooth talker, able to fit into any crowd by altering my voice and speech patterns, and great with impersonations.
I've become the go to guy in my circles for reading stories or scripture, giving speeches, or generally anything requiring reading or speaking. Recently, I've had half a dozen unrelated people tell me I should narrate books on tape or do voice overs, and here I am.

So, professionally speaking, I'm a novice, but, as a natural talent, I can guarantee quality work.

My Training

After High School, I was faced with the unique but still difficult decision between going to school for either Theater or Engineering. I chose the latter and thus have my degree in Biomedical Engineering. This, I believe, has grounded me professionally and given me a wide berth of real life experience and an understanding of humanity outside of the norm for voice actors.

I have my skill and ability as a voice talent, and make common use of it unprofessionally, but am still building my portfolio.
