Additional Skills

For over 12 years I sold videos/dvds over the telephone.
I had sold B movies. The explanation of the storylines coupled with my own enthusiasm and ability to persuade through subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) suggestions helped to build an extraordinarily profitable company.
Technology has since overidden that kind of distribution.
However this did enabled me to build up my voice through the use of silent specific moments of pause, greater emphasizing the words that are spoken.

I am writing a novel. I have been working on this for over one year. Through this work and the editing of this work, I have a greater appreciation for words and the resonance words can transmit. Through the writing of dialogue I also understand the different cadences and nuances that a voice can deliver.

One other note. I do see the bigger picture. An example if you are doing a VO commercial. It is clear that you are selling a product or a service and that that is the underlying purpose. Regardless if the commercial is comical or serious or entertainment based.
