I have a well trained well rounded voice, i'm great at character voices and accents but am a really good at hard sell radio adverts without sounding to pushy and do a superb soft sell which reads really well for narration for documentaries and other such T.V and radio productions.

My Voice Experience

As an actress we find ourselves branching out into different areas of the industry, this is for me the most exciting ting i've stumbled upon yet!! I started voice work over 6 years ago by recording simple on hold messaging and grew from there. Living in Durban i worked for numerous local radio stations as well as national radio stations while maintaining my on hold work. I now live in johannesburg and have recently finished voicing a new documentary series called earth touch which was screened on the bbc. I am a resident artist at Jacaranda Fm, East Coast Radio, 5FM and numerous smaller stations. I work on an on going basis for Open source studios, rhubarb, seselos, floodlight, siyabonga and many other studios.

My Training

I have a bachelor of arts degree in Drama and Performance studies and english and have lived abroad in London and New York where i furthered my training with acting coaches Tony Grecco and Samson Rhumbelow.

My Studio Equipment

I run my studio from home with top class equipment, i record my sound on a samson mic which runs directly into Behringer tube ultragain mic 100 preamp this converts the sound and runs into a compressor also Beringer called the mini com modelling compressor. The sound leaves this compressor and runs into an Edirol usb connection that converts the sound to be edited via my Mac set up. I use Garage band on a Mac. This produces a sound most studios are more than happy with.

Additional Skills

I am a very reliable and if i get work i get it done as soon as possible. I'm happy to record on weekends and late nights to get the work done. So if you like the sound of my voice please don't hesitate to contact me!
