My Voice Experience
Currently, I work in the customer service department for Wachovia Trust, in Greensboro, NC. Often, when I speak with trust clients, I am often told that I work in the wrong profession and should work in radio! Prior to Wachovia, I worked as a teacher of English in both private and public school. During my teaching career, I frequently recited poetry and prose to my students, who frequently commented on my communicative and vocal skills. In addition, I am a devoted parent and read nightly bedtime stories to my daughter, Kamera. She is left spellbound, but she is very biased.
My Training
During my college matriculation at Morehouse College, I studied public speaking. I also a similar course when I attended a summer school session at the University of South Carolina. In addition, during my Masters Degree coursework at Wake Forest University, I took courses in voice presentation, tone, articulation, and inflection.

Additional Skills
While I have no formal voice over training, I have been a teacher, have taken formal training in public speaking, have won awards for public speaking, and read nightly to my young daughter. I believe that these experiences position me well for opportunities in the voice over industry.
